This memorial honours LT. D. Carey RN and LT. B. Enzver RNVR who drowned off Mon Repos during X Craft training for Operations Sabre & Foil.

Note: If you are heading further North there is a Memorial Walk at Emu Park well worth a look. The Singing Ship monument is quite unique.

Submarines Walk Heritage Trail, Macquarie Street Teneriffe
An Informative River walk with plaques that tell the story of the USN Submarines based here in WW11 along with our own Australian Submarine History. The bench seats etc. also tell a story.  A model Submarine, part of the Trail is where the spreading of Ashes is carried out.
